Showing you around the interface of titanRose:
You've succesfully installed titanRose and managed to login!
This guide will show you what the interface contains, what it does and how you may use it.




:: 1. Character Info ::
This area displays your characters basic information.

  • Character Name
  • Character Level
  • Hp (hit points): Hit points represent your characters health. When Hp reaches 0 your character dies.
  • Mp (magic points): Magic points are used for special skills your character can obtain in game. Each skill uses up a certain amount of Mp, when your Mp is too low you won't be able to use certain skills.

  • :: 2. Minimap ::
    The minimap tells you the name of the map you're currently in, at which coordinates you are currently located so your friends could find you more easily and which direction you are facing. All together it helps you with exploring the world of titanRose.

  • Clicking on the "w" makes you go to the World Map.
  • Clicking on the Magnifying Glass will enlarge/reduce the minimap.
  • Clicking on the "_" will toggle the minimap to either show or hide.

  • :: 3. Chat ::
    The chat field allows you to see other characters their text, items and expoints you gain upon killing monsters, quest information and more.
    The different tabs determine who receives your typed texts:

  • All: This tab allows you to chat with everyone around you. People close to you will see what you say when typing in "All".
  • @Whisper: Clicking this tab will put a @ in front of the chat. When combining @ with a name you can privately whisper another player. Example: "@Jynxie Hello there"
  • !Shout: Clicking this tab will put a ! in front of your chat. When putting a ! in front of your text your message will be sent as a [Shout]. People within a larger area of the map will see these messages.
  • #Party: Clicking this tab will put a # in front of your chat. When putting a # in front of your text your message will only be sent to members within your party.
  • &Clan: Clicking this tab will put a & in front of your chat. When putting a & in front of your text your message will only be sent to fellow clan members.
  • ~Ally: Clicking this tab will put a ~ in front of your chat. When putting a ~ in front of your text your message will only be sent to people on the same PvP team as you (red/blue).

  • :: 4. Skill Bar ::
    You can place skills within your active skillbar. The skills in your skill bar can be accessed by hotkeys (F1-F8) or by clicking on the skill. By pressing the up or down arrow you can select your skill bar number, you have 4 in total. This allows you to put up to 32 different skills on your skill bar. By enabling the "Second skill bar" you can see 2 numbers at the same time.


    :: Menu ::
    You can access the interface options by clicking on "Menu". You can find the Menu button under the "1. Character Info" area as shown above.
    By clicking on it the following menu will drop down:



    This guide will go through all of the options you can choose from in this order.
    You can access the options by the key combinations shown next to them.



    :: Character - Info ::

  • Name: Your characters name
  • Class: The job your character is (Visitor - Muse, Soldier, Hawker, Dealer)
  • Clan: The name of the clan you joined
  • Rank: By winning PvP battles (level 70+) you can obtain a higher PvP rank
  • Fame: Currently un-used
  • Level: Your characters level
  • Exp: Expoints you currently have / Expoints you need until next level
  • Stamina: Stamina is used by consumables such as Teleportation Scrolls and Charms



  • :: Character - Status ::
  • Str: Strength influences hitpoints, weight your character can carry, defense and the attack power of certain weapons.
  • Dex: Dexterity influences dodge rate, movement speed and the attack power of certain weapons.
  • Int: Intelligence influences magic resistance, skill power and the attack power of certain weapons.
  • Con: Concentration influences hit rate, craft success rate and the attack power of certain weapons.
  • Cha: Charm influences quest rewards
  • Sen: Sen influences critical rate, craft stat rate, skill damage and the attack power of certain weapons.
  • Points: The amount of points you can distribute on your stats.

  • Atk: Attack power represents how strong your character is. The higher the attack power, the more damage it can deal.
  • Def: Defense represents your characters toughness. Higher defense will cause opponents to deal less damage on your character.
  • M-Def: Magic defense represents your characters resistance to magic attacks. Higher magic defense will cause opponents to deal less damage on your character when using magic attacks.
  • Hit: Hit rate represents the accuracy of your character. Higher hit rate will cause your character to miss monsters less.
  • Cri: Critical rate represents the chance your character may land a Critical hit on your opponent, which deals more damage than a regular hit.
  • Dodge: Dodge rate represents the chance your character may dodge opponent's attacks. When your character is being missed it will receive no damage.
  • A-spd: Attack speed represents the speed your character attacks with.
  • M-spd: Movement speed represents the speed your character runs with.



  • :: Character - Union ::
    Your character may choose to join a union after level 30. There are currently 4 unions in game: Righteous Crusaders, Junon Order, Arumics and the Ferrel Guild. Joining a union allows you to participate the Union War in which people that are in the same order will fight against people from other unions. By winning you will receive Union Points. You can also obtain Union Points by doing quests for the order you're in.
    Union points are displayed in this tab. You can use your Union Points at the founders of your Union to obtain unique items.




    :: Item ::
    The Item menu is your inventory. It shows the items your character currently has equiped and what items it's currently carrying.
    Item holds 2 main tabs: Equipment and Tuning.

    As you see there are 3 tabs in Equipment.

  • Equip: This tab holds your equipable items such as Weapons, Shields and Body Armor.
  • Consumable: This tab holds items your character can actively use such as Hp Potions, Teleportation Scrolls, etc.
  • Etc: This tab holds your etcetera items. Etcetera items can be used for crafting, quests, ammunition and more.

  • Tuning is the tab that holds your PAT parts. PAT parts are used as transportation, such as a Cart or Castle Gear.


    This part contains information about the amount of Zuly you have and the Weight your character can handle and is currently at. Depending on how overweight your character is you may not be able to run or attack any opponents.




    :: Skill ::
    The skill window displays 3 tabs. The Basic, Active and Passive tab.

  • Basic skills: This window displays your basic skills such as sit, pick up, trade, party invite and more.
  • Active skills: This tab displays the skills your character learned for its job. They are skills your character can actively use such as buffs, attacks, crafting, etc.
  • Passive skills: This tab displays the skills your character learned for its job. They are skills that boost your characters stats or allows them to learn certain active skills.
  • You can drag the skills of this window onto your skill bar. You also need to upgrade your already learned skills in this window.




    :: Quest ::
    The quest window displays your active quests and their descriptions.
    While on a quest you may read back the information you gained from the quest when accepting it.
    This window will also list quest items you have obtained and need for the quest at hand.



    :: Community - Friends ::
    This tab holds your current player friends. You can see which friends are online and start a private chat with them by double clicking on their name.
    You can simply add or remove friends by clicking the "+" or "-" at the left bottom of the community window.
    You can set your status so people can see what you are currently doing.




    :: Community - Parties ::
    This tab functions as a Party Finder. It displays the parties currently within your level range along with the Party Leader. You can whisper the Party Leader for an invite.
    Partying makes the game more fun and allows you to fight more difficult opponents.



    :: Clan - Clan Info ::
    This tab displays the general information about your clan.

  • Clan Name: The clan name of your clan as displayed above your characters head.
  • Clan Grade: Higher clan grades can hold more members. Each grade has a different color.
  • Clan Points: To increase your clan's grade you require Clan Points. These can be obtained in clan related area's.
  • Slogan: The clan's personal Slogan upon registration.
  • Clan Funds: Currently unused.
  • Max Clan Members: The current and maximum amount of members within the clan.
  • Registration: The date and time of when the clan was founded.
  • Allied Clan: Currently unused.

  • Rank: Displays your rank within the clan.
  • Contribution: Displays how many Clan Points you contributed to the clan.



  • :: Clan - Member ::
    This tab displays the clan members their online/offline status and some basic information about the member.
    When hovering over a member's name you will see his level, job and channel.

    The buttons on the right:
  • Entrust: You may entrust a Deputy Master to take over the clan's leadership.
  • Expel: You can remove a member from the clan if you're the Master of the clan.
  • Promotion: You can promote a member in rank if you're the Master of the clan.
  • Demotion: You can demote a member in rank if you're the Master of the clan.
  • Ask to Join: Deputy Masters and Masters can invite players to join the clan.

  • Withdrawal: You can leave the clan if you're ranked lower than Master.
  • When clicking on a member their name while they're online it will display their Personal Contribution.



    :: Clan - ClanSkill ::
    This tab displays the acquired Clan Skills. They are passive skills that allow the clan to do certain things.
    For example the Clan Base Camp allows your clan to use the Clan House that can be used as a private map by you and your clan members.



    :: Clan - Notice ::
    This tab displays any messages the clan Master leaves in here. It can be used as a message board.


    :: Player Vs Player ::
    This window displays the Player versus Player information.
  • Rank: Displays your PvP rank. Your rank is determined by the amount of wins.
  • Wins: Displays the amount of wins you've had.
  • Points: Displays the amount of PvP Points. You can spend these for unique items.

  • Gametypes:
  • Dragon Hunt:
    In Dragon Hunt you have to battle the other team for their dragon. At the beginning there are 3 eggs on both teams. You will have to kill the opponents eggs and their Dragon will spawn. The team that kills their opponents Dragon first wins the match.
  • Crystal Conquest:
    In Crystal Conquest you battle the other team to obtain key-locations that are located all over the map. When your team holds a location they will receive points over time. The opposite team can take back the location however, so you'll have to stay alert. The first team to hit 300 points wins.
  • Capture the Flag:
    In Capture the Flag you'll have to play both defense and offense. The goal is to bring the opposite flag back to your flag located in the base. When the opposing team has your flag you will be unable to deliver it. The first team with 3 successful flag snatches wins.
  • King of the Hill:
    In King of the Hill you battle the other team for the hill. While standing on the hill with no oposite players on it your team will receive points. The oposite team will try to kick you off, so stay alert. The first team to receive 150 points wins.



  • :: Achievements ::
    The achievement window allows you to see what achievements you can obtain and already have obtained during your titanRose adventures. Some have a description which make it possible to aim for, others are secret achievements that only get unlocked if you meet the right requirements.
    Using the Sort button will place all your obtained achievements at the top of the page.

    The Achievement Catagories:

  • General: These are the general achievements that do not fit a specific genre.
  • Quests: These achievements are obtained from doing quests.
  • Events: These achievements are obtained by participating in Theme Events and Game Master Events.
  • Dungeon: These achievements are obtained by doing dungeon related things.
  • Monsters: These achievements are obtained by killing monsters, sometimes under certain conditions.
  • PvP: These achievements are obtained by doing Player versus Player related things.



  • :: Help ::
    The help window displays some basic help functions in game. By clicking a link with a "+" next to it you unfold underlaying links. By double clicking on one of them it will go to the matching Explanation.
    It's a helpful window if you are not certain how the game works.




    :: Game Option - Video ::
    This window controls your general Video Settings.

  • View Size: This determines the resolution your client will be viewed in.
  • Refresh Rate: This determines the refresh rate of your client, the default is 60
  • Font Size: This determines the text size of your game.
  • Performance/Quality: This determines the quality of the game graphics. Using lower quality will be less demanding on your computer.
  • Depth View: This determines how far you can see of the landscape. Using small ranged visibility will be less demanding on your computer.
  • Full Mode: Puts the client in full screen.
  • Window Mode: Allows you to play in a windowed mode where you can access your desktop more easily.
  • Reset: Resets the UI position, skill bar etcetera will be placed back to its original position.



  • :: Game Option - Sound & Extra ::
    This window controls your general Audio settings and the Extra's that were added to the client.

  • BGM: Background Music is the music you hear from towns. It's the constant ambient sound.
  • SE: Special Effects are the sounds characters and monsters make within the game.
  • Anti-Aliasing: Enhances your graphic quality, enabling this may be more demanding for your computer.
  • Second Skillbar: Enables the second skill bar on your main window.
  • Far Zoom: Allows you to scroll out further to see more.



  • :: Game Option - Mouse Options ::
    This window conrols your general Mouse options.

  • Targeting Options: Determines how you attack your targets.
  • Other Player Name: Hide or Show other players display names.
  • NPC Name: Hide or Show NPC (Non Player Character) names.
  • Quest Icons: Hide or Show Quest Icons where available.
  • Player Tips: Hide or Show Player tips that appear at the top of your client.



  • :: Game Option - Game Options ::
    This controls your general Game Options. Setting these correctly may be important to interact with other players.

  • Whisper: Rejecting this will prevent you from receiving whispers from other players.
  • Add Friend: Rejecting this will prevent you from receiving Add Friend requests from other players.
  • Trade: Rejecting this will prevent you from receiving Trade requests from other players.
  • Party: Rejecting this will prevent you from receiving Party Invites from other players.
  • Messenger: Rejecting this will prevent you from receiving Personal Messages from your friends.
  • Duel: Rejecting this will prevent you from receiving Duel Invites from other players.



  • :: Game Option - Keyboard Options ::
    This controls your keyboard input setting.

  • Enter Chat Mode: With this mode you will have to hit the Enter key before being able to put in text in the chat field.
  • Normal Chat Mode: With this mode any typing you do in the client will automatically show up in the chat field.
